Blue Iris in Commugny

This is another one of my irises from my favorite private garden in the neighborhood. My reference photo was taken during broad daylight but I thought I might paint a dark background to make the blue iris "pop out". I hope you like the effect. Have a good day!

What a nice composition, Theresa. The sheltering 'arm' over the bud and the soft lights in the background... just lovely.
