dogwood blossoms

dogwood blossoms 6"x6"
Watercolor on paper

Dogwood grows in the wild in Virginia. I loved to watch them slowly pop up, in the spring, into full blooms. Here in Switzerland, they do not seem to grow prolific or in the wild, but I managed to find this one in a very posh nursery near our home. I hope you like it.

Thank you so much to all who took their time to come to the opening party of our art show at the UN last night. The food, entertainment and company were wonderful. If you didn't have a chance to come last night, the show will go on for another 2 weeks, so, I hope you can come to see our latest works. Have a great day! Theresa Miller

Lovely compostion... you captured the delicacy of the flower! Geneva! Wow, that makes me feel old. I was there in college living with a local family in 1971.
