Summer Bounty III
Watercolor on paper
An old still-life watercolor that I painted a few years ago in Geneva, Summer Bounty III, was chosen for the January 2012 juried show at The Art League, yay! I grew those tomatoes in planters on my balcony when I lived in Switzerland - they were beautiful, tasty and plentiful. And it was a pleasure painting them. I hope you can come to see the painting and show at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA.

Congratulations--it's a beautiful painting; the tomatoes are luscious. and the Torpedo Factory's such a great place!! I took a workshop with Jackie Saunders there last year; hope to go back!
Thank you Laura!
