Milano

Milano
10"x15" watercolor on paper
My husband, daughter and I went on a longuish Italian trip a few weeks back and this was one of the stops: shopping time in Milan. The scene is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, next to the Teatro Alla Scala and the Duomo. The galleria is actually a very old shopping mall, dating back in the late 18 hundreds. Nowadays, it houses expensive boutiques, including Prada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. Therefore, there was lots of window shopping!

Hi, Theresa! Sounds like a fabulous trip :-)
Love the bright light and shimmering shadows in this. Really get a feel for the movement of the people and the beautiful architecture.
